Change does not happen overnight, and it does not happen through pressure or judgement. It begins when you feel heard, supported, and clear about your options.
At Lumera, we use evidence-based, drug-free approaches to help you understand your relationship with alcohol and other drugs, build practical skills, and move toward a healthier, more balanced life. Our work is centred on respect, collaboration, and long-term wellbeing.
You do not have to do this alone. Support is available, and it starts with a conversation.
Bring life back into focus.

No, you don’t need a referral. Self referral is more than fine. However, if you have shared your issue with a GP or mental health professional, a referral will assist Jeff when completing your assessment and indicate any areas of sensitivity. A referral will also enhance the shared care relationship aspect with your health care professional team.

Absolutely! Support is vital in many people’s journeys, and we encourage it. However, we respect your privacy so away from your support person at the beginning of your appointment, we will discuss with you what information (if any) you would like withheld in the appointment.
Our mission is to create a judgement-free space for anyone who has issues with alcohol or drug issues to feel safe, welcomed, and valued.
